Prayer and Praise!
Cary and Apex
• The children arrived in Mexico safely this week. Thank you for your prayers.
• The paperwork has been submitted for missionaries to pick-up food from an area Kroger. Praise the Lord for Him providing enough missionaries to pick-up and deliver the food 5 days a week prior to the store’s approval. Missionaries still are needed to pick-up and deliver the food on Thursdays and Fridays.
• One of the Hispanic women is teaching a missionary Spanish little by little during the Wednesday mission. Thank you Jesus!!!
• The lambs who received the M25 cards were thanking the Lord for His mighty provision through Hope Community. They couldn’t believe the large quantity of food they received. Praise you Jesus for Your Almighty provisions!
• Calvary Chapel’s homeschool group conducted a food drive this week. The afternoon the food arrived was similar to the movie Field of Dreams. No sooner was the food delivered, the lambs came. A lamb moved into an Oxford house and need groceries; another needed a toothbrush and toothpaste; missionaries were able to make “friendship bags” containing sterno, canned food with pop tops, plastic utensils, fruit cups, crackers and V8 with much of the food; and there is still food overflowing for the next person in need. Praise you Jesus for Your Almighty provisions and prefect timing!

• Please pray for the caterer who donates much food. His still doesn’t have answers to his health issues.
• Please keep the Brown Bag ministry director in your prayers.
• Praise You Lord for a missionary/former lamb who has been instrumental with assisting several lambs with employment opportunities, temporary shelter, and transportation to substance abuse meetings. Thank You Jesus!
• An Apex/Cary Missionary has been asked to speak at Fuquay High School. Please keep her in your prayers as to what the Lord wants her to say and may her words Glory You, sweet Jesus!
• Please keep in prayer all the Apex and Cary missions.

Garner
• Please keep a missionary/former lamb in your prayers. He received a chest x-ray where a spot on his lung was seen. He goes in for a CT scan Monday for further investigation. He is also going in for testing due to his digestive issues on the 16th.
• Please keep a missionary in prayer for her gall stones. She has also been diagnosed with Celiac Spruce.
• Please pray for two missionaries/lambs who fell back into substance abuse this week. Pray that God helps them learn they can do all things through Him and not to rely on their own strength.
• Please keep a lamb in prayer who is under attack through his dog and girlfriend. Pray that he come to know that Jesus has trampled the serpent. Pray that he will dig deeper into the Word instead of old coping skills.
• Please pray for a lamb who has been released from Dorothea Dix nearly a year after suffering brain aneurisms from excessive substance abuse. She was placed in an Oxford House and has already gone out drinking two nights and has been hospitalized. Please pray that she see there is no future in returning to her old friends and her old ways – that the future lies in Jesus.
• A lamb was told that if she continued to abuse substances she would be in an assisted living home before she reached the age of 50. This news has frightened her enough that she has been substance free for four weeks now. We Praise You Jesus!
• A missionary who has serve Jesus through CitW and his “Biker” church many times is in a Chapel Hill hospital after severe injuries from a motorcycle accident. Please continue to keep him and his wife in your prayers.
• A Hispanic lamb is in jail in Wake County not knowing whether he will be returned to Florida for some old charges or whether he will be released. If you feel called, please send them to:

Missionary Testimonials

A missionary who sometimes writes about Church in the Woods in online articles received an email this week from a woman in Fuquay-Varina who wants to start a similar outreach there. She is gathering information and hopes to get a couple more people from her church to visit with missionaries at CitW. Ultimately she hopes the entire church will get behind efforts to help the poor. Praise God!
