This week the Lord's lambs have been in the news. The story can be read at http://www.newsobserver.com/102/story/447736.html . Support Circles used with the Katrina victims are also going to be used as part of the 10-year plan to end homelessness. Please keep in pray Support Circles as training begins this summer for those who feel lead to be part.

Last week prayers were answered for those seeking apartments and deposit money. An area church and Womenade donated money to place FIVE of the Lord's lambs into housing. We are thanking the Lord for all of you! God is always faithful!
One of the lambs lost her original apartment due to lack of funding. The Lord and His perfect timing, with grace and mercy honored prayers and found her a better apartment for less money. She moved in Thursday. She has asked for prayers for furniture and other household belongings. An Apex church has prayerfully asked its congregation to assist with donations of household belongings, as well as members of the Body of Christ group. 2 Corinthians 9:9-11
Another lamb and her two children, too, lost the original apartment due to lack of funding. She has found a nicer, less expensive apartment with a second bedroom for her children. Her children have been in foster care for the last two years with weekend visitation due them being homeless. Now with an apartment the family can begin the process to be reunited. The same church has prayerfully asked its congregation to assist with donations of household belongings, as well as members of the Body of Christ group.
We thank the Lord not only for your prayers for apartments, but for your prayers for employment. One of the Lord's lambs attended church Sunday and Monday morning was blessed with a full-time job, a room to rent, and a car (once he has saved enough money for insurance, and he wants to save the money). The same church has prayerfully asked its congregation to assist with donations of household belongings, as well as members of the Body of Christ group.

A missionary from Restoring Hope was told of 4 siding jobs and an apartment to rent for those working with the siding job. Hallelujah!!!

One of the Lord's lambs has called missionaries asking for rides to return to AA. She wants to obtain her drivers license and needs to be sober for 6 months.

One of the Lord's lambs was released from jail and has called missionaries wanting to attend church on Sunday. God is so good! We are thanking the Lord for the seed sown a few years ago. May it be taking root, Please pray the ground is fertile, please pray that she has Christian fellowship to nurture God's Word, pray that she become part of a faith based support circle.

One of our lambs receiving outpatient counseling for substance abuse is taking a medication to reduce alcohol cravings. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. He is picking up his 30 day AA chip this week. Thank you Jesus!

Continue to keep in prayer the Lord's lamb who has chosen alcohol over his job.

One of the Lord's lambs is having a heart cath. next week. Please keep her in your prayers, she is anxious.

The study last night was dying to sin and asking the Lord to help each of us recognize sins and laying down the right to that sin at the cross. There was quite a bit of discussion and conviction. Many lambs left due to the conviction and guilt. All of the scripture used was about dying and becoming new in Christ. Luke 9:57-62, John 12:24-25, Romans 5-8, 1 Corinthians 15:42-43, Galatians 5:16-26, Galatians 6:7-9, Ephesians 2:1-10, ... A new missionary joined the group last night. The Lord has placed on her heart the passion to serve abused women. Thank you Jesus!
