Prayers for Maria and her family
I sent the email below last month, but today I ask that you pray for Maria’s family again.
Maria joined Jesus last night.
She had blood pressure issues and asthma so severe last night, she was taken to Cary Wake Med, and didn’t survive the night. Her son, Jesus, (age 10) called me this morning to tell me the news, bless his heart, not something a 10 year old should have to do.
Keep her husband, Juan, sons, Jesus and Juan, and her father (Papa) in your prayers.
We can thank Jesus that Maria knew Him and at Fiesta Day, August 16th, she asked that her unborn daughter know Him as well. We don’t’ know if her unborn daughter, Rosa, was delivered or not. She was due in October. We thank Jesus that her sister-in-law, Christina, lives across the street.
We thank Jesus that Maria’s grandfather is in safe housing in Durham.
We thank Jesus that He, in His perfect timing, brought a Hispanic Church to serve Him in the mission this summer. Carola and Gilbert, what a blessing you and your church have been! We thank Jesus that the children have been involved with the Backyard Bible Club for over a year. Talli thank you for listening to Jesus and starting it at the mission, and Stacy, Tiffany, and team for continuing it. God is so good!
What a foundation Jesus has laid here with brothers and sisters in Christ to support this family and neighborhood! God is so faithful!
As we find out anything, we will let you know of any needs, other than prayers.
