Thank you Jesus for all Your blessings we are allowed to witness each week. Thank you also for Your faithfulness.

Prayer and Praise!
Cary and Apex

• One lamb has been cigarette free for two months and is now asking to be lifted in prayer to be alcohol free. We thank you Jesus!
• A lamb’s mother was told she had one year to live. She is the caretaker of the couples’ children. Please pray the Lord blesses them with their children during this time period so the children don’t become part of the system. Pray for intervention.
• Area Apex churches are hosting a cookout for one of the Apex Missions November 24th at 3:30. Hot dogs have been provided by Hope Chapel and an individual has provided the baked beans. Members from the Prince of Peace will be cooking. For more information contact Cuba at 387-7480.
• Thank you Lord for the job for one lamb as he gave into temptation and lost his previous job.
• Thank you Lord for your mighty provisions of food and toiletries. Several lambs have been able to pick-up needed items.
• Thank you Jesus for the provisions for the lamb who contacted missionaries from Easter Seals looking for household items. Items still needed are a dresser, a TV stand, a queen size bed frame (he already has a mattress, box spring, sheets and comforter), and two kitchen chairs or barstools. • Sunday as the children finished the Backyard Bible club and joined missionaries for pizza, the children told them that Sundays were the only day they could play together because their parents were afraid to allow the children to play outside. The parents felt the children were safe. The mothers nodded in agreement. Thank You Jesus for allowing these parents to see the hedge of protection you place around the Backyard Bible Club.
• A food drive through Hope Chapel is being conducted for one of the Apex missions December 16th. Pray that 85 bags of groceries are provided, one for each family.
• Monday Cary missionary has asked for prayers for a lamb with multiple health issues. Due to liver complications her doctors have given her a few months to live. She prayed with the missionary today and accepted Jesus as her Savior. Halleluiah!!!! The two also prayed for physical healing. He is asking that the Thursday missionary also pray with her this week and weeks to come. Praise the Lord, Jesus is discipling she and her husband through this missionary with prayer, books and tapes concerning Christianity. The missionary is asking for prayer for her walk with Christ, her new love for the Lord and His Word, and healing of her mind as well as her body.

• Creech Chiropractic is conducting a non-perishable food drive during November. Thank You Jesus!
• The Backyard Bible Club is every Sunday afternoon. This is for the children. For more information concerning the Backyard Bible Club please contact Stacy Boxell at stacy@net-by-design.com

• Thanksgiving dinner will be held at the Ernest Myatt Presbyterian church on 401, Thanksgiving evening at 5 PM. Contact Alice at 772-7050, if you are interested in attending or bringing part of the dinner.
• Pray for a lamb in jail. Missionaries aren’t able to contact him because they don’t know the alias he is using.
• Thank you Jesus for a lamb who has been substance free for several months. She begins a job this week. Keep her in your prayers for Godly money management. Please also pray that she is able to save money and move into an apartment for Christmas!
• A lamb has completed treatment at a substance abuse center. Please keep him lifted in prayer as he has temporary housing but needs an apartment. Pray he will make Godly choices. Pray that he attends a Christian substance abuse program such as Celebrate Recovery.
• A lamb has been in contact with his brother in Idaho. His brother has asked the lamb to move to Idaho and live with his brother’s family. Praise God that a family donated money for this situation a few months ago to pay for the transportation!
• A former lamb had surgery three weeks ago to correct a prior injury. While running test for the surgery, spots were detected on his lungs. He had a PET scan this week. Praise God only one lung was confirmed to have cancer and there were no other signs of cancer. The second lung did have spots but they didn’t show signs of cancer. The lungs will be scoped and biopsied prior to Thanksgiving. He will then talk with his surgeon about possibilities.
• A Hispanic lamb was transferred to a FL prison this week. He is to serve ~ a week there and then released. Pray for the Lord’s provision after he is released. His address is

• Please continue to pray for a lamb who is trying to stay clean and sober while still in the woods.
  
  Missionary Testimonials
  A woman in Maine wrote this week asking for advice in helping the homeless in Boston – about two hours from her home. Missionaries agreed to provide assistance and also asked whether there might be homeless communities closer to home where her family could serve.
  
  Three lambs are about to become roommates and, we pray, accountability partners as they work to stay off substances. Please pray that each will feel responsible to provide an example to the others and that they will learn to lift up Jesus instead of a bottle whenever they are in need.
  
  There is a large support circle developing around this household as well. The landlord is from a Bible study two of the lambs have attended. Friends and mentors from church are also working with them. God has such a way of working through community and relationships!
  
  
  Community Awareness – Meetings and missions
  
• A missionary spoke to an area high school Civics class and Social Diversity class about the homeless population in Wake County. The students wanted to know how they can serve as an individual and as a group. Some students even asked if he/she could come and meet some of the lambs.

• CitW Medical missions will now be hosting two medical missions per month. The CitW medical mission has two new glucometers, Ascensia contour and Ascensia Breeze. Both need testing strips.

  God’s Provision – Donations of Time & Finances
  
• A Garner church contacted missionaries wanting to donate items for the Sunday Moore Square mission. Praise God!
• An Apex church called missionaries wanting their youth to make scarves and collect Chapstick and socks for the December 22nd Moore Square.
• Thank the Lord for the showers each week from the Garner Methodist church Thank You Jesus for serving hearts! Thank You Lord for the laundermat that continues to hold the homeless laundry account.
• Thank you Jesus for all the food donated by area Food Lion stores, Macedonia Baptist church , individuals, and Catering-by-Design! Thank you Lord for all the donations of clothing, storage places (Hope Chapel), towels and sweat clothes from the Dorcas shop, and sheets, jackets, & toiletries items from individuals, and toiletries donated this week.
• We thank you, Jesus, for those who have donated time showing the love of Jesus through relationships and support circles, especially as new ones are developing across Cary and Apex. Praise God!
