Praises:
In Luke 10, the Disciples of Christ are asked to enter a home and say Peace to this home. If peace is received, it is a good place to stay. In the Apex mission a house of peace was found going door-to-door with bagged lunches and asking for prayer needs. One family had a prayer need answered and were told that God’s kingdom is here. The family asked to assist with the Wednesday ministry, praying over the Lord’s bounty each week, bringing His provisions to each home, and praying with the families in need. The family then decided to open their home for the children’s church. In the Hispanic community, a children’s church also included at least his/her mother. Every Sunday evening now “church” comes to the front porch of this family of peace. Tonight the neighborhood’s power was out. Instead of cancelling, the cars were turned into the yard facing the porch, so the car headlights could be used as lights, and the fellowship could continue. Praise God, soon the disciples of Christ will be able to move to a new area and find another family of peace to grow God’s kingdom.

The Lord opened the door to a new area tonight. Prior to the “children’s church” a young boy was attacked by a dog. His mother came to pick him up and took him to urgent care. When they returned for his bicycle, it wouldn’t fit in their car. A missionary offered to take the bike and follow them home. Their home was in a rival neighborhood. The missionary was able to pray with the family for the boy’s healings, invite them to the “children’s church”, possibly opening a door to another home of peace. Thank you Jesus!

A former lamb has moved into a transitional home in Durham. The Lord has placed on his heart to feed the poor in Durham. A Cary caterer is donating food each week for him to feed physically and spiritually the neighboring prostitutes, homeless, and drug addicts. Thank You Jesus! He wants to name this new mission after his daughter.

Thank You Jesus for the missionary who did the Cary mission. He is stepping down and another missionary has stepped up, but changing the mission location to another Apex area.
